To better serve the increasing travel demand on Tet days (2011 Rabbit Lunar Year), Dong Nai province's Public Passenger Transport Management and Operation Centre made detailed plan for passenger transport with the transportation means of buses, trucks and free-of-charge buses for workers. Accordingly, the Centre asked transport units in written to timely repair their vehicles, ensuring to serve the travel demand of local residents on Tet holiday. Moreover, these units must actively joined hands with the managers of vehicle stations to find out suitable methods to deliver the best service for passengers, checking and posting up ticket prices to avoid the too high prices and the transferring passengers between vehicles.

Transport units need to readily prepare for Tet holiday

As for bus services, bus companies need to arrange enough buses, having bus routes supervised, mastering the travel demand of passengers on Tet days to open and close bus routes appropriately. Bus routes with or without price support still need to maintain their operation hours until 12:00PM on the 30th day of the twelfth lunar month of the previous year if there are no longer passengers.
