Planting commemorative trees at the Region 2 Navy

The emulation cluster 2 headed by Nhon Trach district’s union consists of such units as Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Long Thanh and Bien Hoa. At the meeting, Colonel Mai Tien Tuyen, Political Commissar of the Region 2 Navy, reviewed the tradition and strength of the Vietnamese Navy in the past years. He also noted the features on the position, role and the importance of sea and islands for the country’s development. The union organizations should increasingly boost propaganda activities so that union members and young people have a profound awareness of the importance of the sea and islands, he added.

At the event, members of the emulation cluster 2 planted commemorative trees, performing music show, and competing in volleyball with soldiers of Region 2 Navy.
