Program themed “Six Million Glasses of Milk for Vietnamese Children” Launched in Dong Nai

According to the provincial department of children protection, as part of action month for children, roughly 2,200 poor children across Dong Nai are given chance to take part in the program this year. The program started in May and will last until the end of July in 20 units across the province. Particularly in Dinh Quan town Primary School and Ma Da Secondary School, the program will be held in time for new school-year ceremony.

The program launched in Ho Chi Minh City

     The program this year is jointly held by for Vietnamese Children’s Fund, Ministry of Education & Training, National Institute of Nutrition and Vinamilk Company. Participants are 18,000 poor primary school children from 15 provinces and cities and other 30,000 handicapped children and orphans nationwide. By means of the program, the organizers wish to help particularly poor children to completely gain physical growth. In addition, the program is set to call for public involvement for a better-grown young generation.
