Vocational Training Rate Hits 37.7 Percent in 2008

     There have been 66 vocational training establishments, comprising 44 local ones, 5 public, 4 private and 13 others across the province. In 2008, about 3000 vocational qualifications and 8,200 professional certificates were offered and 59,382 people, including long-term training 12.508 laborers were trained.

    In addition to vocational training for manual laborers, the provincial authority also held various complementary courses on technical knowledge and foreign languages for over 500 cadres and teachers in the vocational training centers, held the provincial Professional Skill Contest and sent representatives to take part in National Professional Competition with 4 first prizes and the ASEAN Professional Contest with one bronze medal.
