Long Khanh must attract a lot of investment resources from the society

​(E. portal of Dong Nai province) On the afternoon of May 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee chaired a working session with the Standing Board of Long Khanh City Party Committee on the results of the half-term implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress and the 4^th Resolution of the Party Congress of the City, term of 2020-2025.

Leaders of Long Khanh City said that so far, comparing with the targets set by the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress of the province, Long Khanh has achieved and exceeded 9/12 targets, and 3 targets were on the way of striving to achieve by the end of the term (such as total social development investment capital; health insurance coverage rate in the city by 2025 and number of doctors per ten thousand people); For the implementation of the targets set out by the Resolution of the 4th City Party Congress, up to now, 16/24 targets have been met and exceeded, 8 targets are in the process of striving to be achieved by the end of the term.

 Among the results that Long Khanh achieved and exceeded mentioned above, it is doubtful that the per capita income in Long Khanh is 145 million VND per year, increase 19.3 million VND compared to the beginning of the term 2020.

The leaders of the City proposed the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee to soon consider and approve the investment policy of the centralized drainage and wastewater treatment system project in Long Khanh city phase 1 to ensure the criteria for drainage and wastewater treatment for Long Khanh urban area. Supporting and guiding Long Khanh to soon complete the planning of subdivisions and call for investment in new urban areas, residential areas, university urban areas, industrial parks, industrial clusters... according to the planning. Investing in a route connecting with provincial road 770B, this is a strategic route to form an important traffic axis connecting the districts of Dinh Quan, Thong Nhat, Cam My and Long Khanh city to Long Thanh airport creating favorable conditions for the socio-economic development of the province in general and Long Khanh in particular.

​The province is interested in planning and investing in more water reservoirs (such as Gia Dach reservoir, Bau Mon reservoir in Long Khanh city) to have more stable water source for production and lives...

 Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh said that in the past time, the Standing Committee and Party Committees of Long Khanh City had shown their dynamism and sensitivity, followed closely the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, and achieved many remarkable results. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee reiterated that Long Khanh was aiming to become a class II city by 2025, the current problem of Long Khanh was not only accelerating the achievement of the remaining 3 targets according to the Resolution of the XI Provincial Party Congress and 8 targets according to the Resolution of the IV Party Congress of the City, but also have to think about and effectively implement many practical problems, thereby building Long Khanh into a city at a higher level than that of the city with present.

In order for Long Khanh to develop, it must attract a lot of investment resources from society and businesses, so the budget revenue will be high.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Party Committees of Long Khanh City would continue to take good care of the people's quality of lives; striving that by the end of 2025, Long Khanh would no longer have poor households.​​​
