Launching innovative startup programs 2023

​With the theme "Creative runway - Golden deer take off", the Innovation Startup Festival 2023 of Dong Nai province (Techfest DongNai 2023) has just been officially launched. There will be many events held from now to the end of the year.

Through this program, Dong Nai hopes to attract the attention of experts, businesses, investors and start-up projects to promote innovative start-ups in the area.

 Expectations for development

 Techfest DongNai 2023 taking place from now to December includes a series of events, conferences, seminars, forums, contests in the form of live and online combination. Specifically, the Seminar "Application of artificial intelligence and data analysis" in the field of public administration, the Forum of Megacity Connect in the Southeast region, the Seminar "Start-up, innovation in tourism development" , Seminar "Supporting members, farmers in the process of agricultural production, innovative start-up ideas" 2023...

 According to the Department of Science and Technology, at present, Dong Nai province's innovation startup ecosystem has entered a new phase, requiring efforts and coordination from agencies, units, businesses, startups and other organizations, other actors in the ecosystem. Director of the Department of Science and Technology Lai The Thong said that the department was ready to act as a connection to gather resources, connect the locality with the region, the country, universities, research institutes, and start-up support organizations in the region and abroad. The goal was to support the connection of feasible projects, plans and ideas to call for support capital. It is striving to 2025 to put the innovation startup ecosystem of the province to the top 5 of the country.

 Building startup clubs

 The project "Supporting the National Innovation Startup Ecosystem to 2025" (Project 844) implemented in Dong Nai starting from the end of 2020. Up to now, a startup ecosystem has been built and being directed to a strong goal including many elements with businesses, entrepreneurs, researchers, the state and venture capitalists. Activities to support the innovation startup ecosystem are carried out in many aspects such as capital support, communication support, legal support, product introduction support, product connection.

 The Provincial Women's Union regularly organizes training courses to improve entrepreneurship knowledge, planning business plans, business administration; improving capacity for staffs of Associations at all levels and subjects participating in the Program of One Commune One Product. Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union also regularly implements activities to support and connect start-up funds to youth union members; organizing training and inspiring start-ups; organizes contests to find ideas, start-up projects... The Provincial Youth Union has signed a cooperation program with Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank to accompany young people to start a business and establish a business in the period of 2022 - 2025 and received a badge capital of 5 billion dong.

 The startup space is also interested in new investments by universities. Dong Nai University of Technology has built and put into operation a product showroom and introduced technology products and startups. Dong Nai University has built a start-up living area at the Faculty of Economics with a space that can accommodate 500 people. Lac Hong University put into operation the co-working area on entrepreneurship. Start-up clubs at Lac Hong University, Eastern University of Technology, and Dong Nai University also came into active activity, facilitating support, connecting and motivating among students.​​
