6.Japan's SMC Corporation learns to expand investment in Dong Nai

Portal of Dong Nai) - On the morning of May 9, comrade Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a meeting with leaders of Japan's SMC Corporation (SMC).  At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment said that Dong Nai was currently orienting to attract investment in the field of high-tech, environmentally friendly... Therefore, the investment orientation of SMC in the coming time in Dong Nai was in accordance with the requirements of the province. According to Mr. Nguyen, Dong Nai was actively completing infrastructure for road traffic and port system to bring higher efficiency to investors. In addition, labor training to meet the recruitment needs of high-tech investment enterprises as well as the needs of SMC in the coming time was expected to need about 3,000 workers...

Talking with businesses at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh emphasized that Dong Nai was one of the localities attracting large foreign investment enterprises. In the traffic master plan of the South and Southeast region, Cai Mep Port and Long Thanh airport would be the focus, able to transport goods directly to Europe or the US. Besides, currently the Government was promoting expressways for the South and Southeast region and taking Long Thanh as the center of expressway intersections. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hoped that in the coming time, in the process of investing in Dong Nai, SMC would continue to comply with Vietnam's regulations, pay attention to lives of workers, social houses for workers, and take care of health, lives, skill for workers to retain employees in a long term. Dong Nai would continue to coordinate and support to upgrade and standardize industrial zones in Dong Nai in terms of infrastructure, to better serve the requirements of secondary investors in industrial zones, and provincial leaders were ready to willing to receive and listen to the concerns of enterprises to cooperate and promote development in the coming time.
