Dong Nai expects businesses to donate plans for developing

​On May 10, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province held a conference to meet domestic enterprises and cooperatives in the province in 2023.​

​Attending the conference were Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh; Chairman of Provincial People's Council Thai Bao; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung and leaders of Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and businesses, cooperatives producing and doing business in Dong Nai.

 At the conference, representatives of enterprises and cooperatives shared about difficulties and obstacles in production and business such as affected export, narrowed markets, and difficulties in accessing loans. Some businesses faced difficulties due to high land rent; overloaded registration caused many transport units to stall in operation while still having to pay taxes and fees. Businesses and cooperatives wish the government to remove obstacles and have supportive policies in the current difficult period.

Sharing at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung said that Dong Nai had about 50,000 businesses and 416 cooperatives; over 18,000 branches, representative offices, and business locations registered to operate with a total registered capital of about 440 trillion VND. This was the force making a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the province in particular and the country in general. In the first 4 months of the year, production and business growth of enterprises and cooperatives in the area had been low due to the influence of adverse situations at home and abroad. Therefore, solving difficulties and problems of enterprises was also a regular task of the Provincial People's Committee. In the context of many changes in the immediate future, the provincial leaders asked the departments and branches to frankly receive and respond to the recommendations of businesses, and at the same time provide direct support to businesses and cooperatives in the fastest and most convenient way.

​Sharing difficulties with the business community, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh also suggested that the Provincial People's Committee continued to implement policies from the central government, closely followed the business situation for timely solutions. For the general development policy, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wished businesses to understand clearly the problems in transforming the local economic development model to build an appropriate production and business strategy.

 Accordingly, Dong Nai aims to be highly selective in granting investment licenses to take advantage of its inherent advantages. On the basis of the general planning, the province urgently needs excellent ideas from the business community, creating great models and projects, making marks for the general development of the locality.​​
