The State Bank of Vietnam, Dong Nai branch released that until
the end of October 2013, debts for agricultural and rural development of
provincial credit organizations under the Decree No. 41 of the Government
reached 11.6 thousand of billion dong, an in crease of 8.16% compared to the
beginning of year and counting for 15.76% of total debts.
In which, debt for investment in production of agriculture, forestry and fishery is 4.33 thousand of billion dong, counting for more than 37%; non-agricultural debt in rural areas reaches 3.1 thousand of billion dong, counting for nearly 27%; consumption debt in rural areas is 1.810 of billion dong, counting for 15.6%
Particularly, of more than 11.6 thousand of billion dong in rural and agricultural debts, 1,745 billion Dong is not guaranteed by assets, counting for 15% of total agricultural and rural debts.
