The province's goal by 2030 is to develop vocational education institutions that can reach the standards of ASEAN-4 countries and developed countries (G20). The aim is to achieve mutual recognition of degrees, certificates, and vocational skills between Vietnam and ASEAN countries, as well as other countries around the world, essentially meeting the demand for skilled labor at the level of developed countries (G20) globally.
By 2030, the province aims to have 50% of secondary and high school students enrolled in the vocational education system. Approximately 65,000 workers per year will be recruited and trained, while efforts will be made to enhance retraining, advanced training, and regular training for around 50% of the workforce currently employed in enterprises, industrial parks, and clusters.
The province also aims to establish two high-quality colleges that will become regional training centers capable of providing training in certain professions that meet ASEAN and international standards through a business-oriented approach. The development of one green training model and two high-quality regional and international vocational training centers will be emphasized. The planning of professions will be adjusted according to the province's development direction, with a focus on high-tech, biotechnology, and 4.0 industries. The province strives to have 100% of lecturers and teachers teaching vocational training in the priority professions at the ASEAN and international levels.
