Restore natural forest at Tan Phu afforestation yards

An edge of Tan Phu afforestation yards.

This project is implemented with the support of Rhone-Alpes (France), consisting of 3 items: manage and preserve the biological diversity; restore the natural forest and develop tourism industry. Especially, the ecotourism program was given great priority in order to conserve the diversity of animals in the forest. To fulfill this program, Tan Phu afforestation yard are constructing an all-plants road with the length of one kilometer which passes through many kinds of forest. On this road, there are a great number of instruction boards which give information for tourists and forestry researchers.

Basing on good results, Tan Phu afforestation yards are proposing to expand the project in the way to develop ecotourism. And it is basically approved by Rhone-Aples. According to the expansion, new trade villages will be constructed basing on the local breeding industry in order to improve living standard of local people and to mobilize them to protect forests.
