Violations on production and trading of agricultural materials tend to increase

​According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the first nine months of the year, the whole province carried out 33 inspections and tests for 609 production and business establishments in the fields of animal husbandry, fertilizers, and pesticides. objects, an increase of 279 facilities compared to 2021.

The results of inspection, detection and handling of 237 establishments, including 74 organizations and 163 individuals, committed violations in the field of production and trading of agricultural materials. Specifically, establishments violating in the field of animal husbandry, fertilizers, and pesticides will be sanctioned for trading in products that do not meet quality standards and do not conform to relevant technical regulations. The percentage of violation establishments tended to increase slightly with an increase of nearly 3% over the same period last year. The total amount of fines for administrative violations is nearly VND 1.1 billion.
Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has closely coordinated with sectors and localities to implement many solutions to control the quality of input materials for agricultural production. In particular, promoting inspection and examination of production, business, import and export of fertilizers, plant protection drugs, animal feeds and aqua feeds. Resolutely and strictly handle organizations and individuals that intentionally produce and trade in agricultural materials that have acts of speculating, hoarding goods, increasing prices, illegally profiting, trading in items of unknown origin, counterfeit goods, imitation goods, poor quality goods, not ensuring food safety according to regulations. This activity is very necessary in the context of the high price of input materials for agricultural production, the problem of counterfeit goods, imitation goods, and poor-quality goods that are likely to occur.
