Supporting capital for farmers to produce

In the past year, the Union has accelerated the disbursement of funds for farmers, supporting difficult farmers with capital for production investment. As of September 2022, the total capital of the Provincial Farmers Support Fund reached nearly VND 120 billion; The current outstanding loan balance of the Farmers Support Fund at all levels is VND 108 billion, disbursing loans to 2,546 households with 263 household group projects.

Up to now, the Provincial Farmer's Union has been formed and developed in 154 communes and towns with 854 branches, 4,871 associations with over 127,000 members. The Provincial Farmer's Union also focuses on building a team of cadres of the Union at all levels who are exemplary pioneers with good moral qualities, good lifestyle, qualified and capable to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation, worthy of the precious tradition of the Vietnam Farmer's Union organization through 92 years of establishment and development.

In particular, the online contest "Improving the effectiveness of propaganda in the work of the farmer's association and movement" in 2022 is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Farmer's Union in 2022. The contest attracted 1,156 candidates registered for the contest with 3,787 turns, accounting for 94% of the total number of grassroots propagandists. This activity also aims to assess the knowledge, skills, expertise and experience of the propagandists, in association with building and strengthening the contingent of grassroots propagandists; contribute to raising awareness about propaganda work and the functions and tasks of propaganda officers, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
As a result, the Competition Organizing Committee awarded 9 collective prizes and 11 individual prizes, of which the collective first prize belonged to the Tan Phu district Farmer's Union; The individual first prize was Mr. Nguyen Hung Son, branch president of the Farmer's Union in Bao Hoa Commune, Xuan Loc District.
