In 2022, although there are many difficulties that negatively affect the implementation of the province's targets and tasks, so far most of the targets set by the Provincial Party Committee for this year have been achieved and exceeded. Notably, the province's GRDP increased by 9.22% - among the top in the Southeast region...

Although the province's socio-economic situation has recovered strongly, in order to continue to achieve the targets, the next task is a arduous road ahead.

Many things are difficult
Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Nguyen Huu Nguyen stated that from the third quarter of 2022 onwards, the socio-economic development situation in the province tends to worsen. In enterprises, not only do not guarantee enough jobs for employees, but also have difficulty in accessing capital and in investment procedures.
Currently, when carrying out investment procedures must not only ensure proper compliance with the Investment Law but also the synthesis of all regulations.
On the other hand, there are 32 industrial zones in the province, but the remaining land area in the industrial zones is mainly small, so it does not meet the attraction of large-scale investment projects. Therefore, attracting investment in Dong Nai is now more “drowning" than many provinces and cities across the country.
Although Dong Nai's economic growth is the highest in the Southeast, the per capita income in Dong Nai is much lower than in neighboring provinces and cities.
According to the Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Development, the quality of growth in the economic structure in our province is not synchronous, more than 56% of the population live in rural areas, but the share of agriculture accounts for only 9.24% of the growth of GRDP. Services for industry and people's life are very weak, even poor. In Dong Nai there is no venue for national and international conferences. Recently, the Ministry of Planning and Development suggested that Dong Nai organize a regional conference to guide and implement the plan for 2023, but through the review of the provincial facilities, it is not guaranteed to organize this conference. In addition, Dong Nai does not have large shopping centers, only supermarkets selling common items.
Many businesses have had to cut or reduce labor
Another difficult problem currently facing the province is labor employment. Director of Department of Labor and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Thu Hien information, in the province there are about 300 large enterprises, up to now 80 enterprises have reduced orders, 50 enterprises lack funds due to their partners are owed money, 40 enterprises lack imported materials and 40 enterprises can not export goods, through which about 210 thousand workers are affected jobs(in which 9,000 workers are suspended, paid wages as agreed and more than 1,000 workers are suspending labor contracts). In the immediate future, enterprises are trying to hold out, have not cut labor, but from now until the end of the first quarter of 2023, if the situation does not change positively, businesses will have to cut labor.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has advised the province to have policies to support workers to reduce difficulties, in which, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023, the province will support about 60,000 workers with a total amount of about 30 billion VND; In addition, the province will support workers who have lost their jobs but cannot return to the labor market and who are not entitled to unemployment insurance.
