Dong Nai supplies the market with nearly 1.2 million tons of yarn

​According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, in the 11 months of 2022, enterprises in the province have produced and supplied nearly 1.2 million tons of yarn for domestic and foreign markets, increased by more than 6% over the same period last year. Textile fibers are currently one of the six key production and export products of Dong Nai. This year, textile enterprises have expanded domestic consumption and reduced exports.

Accumulated in 11 months of 2022, Dong Nai's export turnover of textile fibers and yarns reached more than 1.3 billion USD, down nearly 18% over the same period last year. Dong Nai's textile fiber and yarn export market is quite diverse through dozens of countries and territories around the world, but the main export markets are Europe, Korea, and China. From 2020 to now, the production of the yarn industry has grown quite well, but exports have continuously decreased because businesses have returned to the domestic market and received a lot of orders. Domestic textile and garment enterprises also tend to increase their sourcing of domestic raw materials to reduce imports, lower transportation costs, and reduce the worry of supply chain disruptions.
