“Over the years, the demand for ordering on e-commerce websites such as postmart.vn, Lazada, Shopee, Sendo, etc. or other online stores has increased. As a result, the demand for freight transportation increases. Dong Nai Post is always proactive in constantly improving service quality, allocating an appropriate workforce to ensure a smooth and stable network operation, serving the delivery needs of the people” Ms. Huong said.
Similarly, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hung, Deputy Director of Viettel Dong Nai Postal Branch, said that Viettel Post system is increasingly expanding its delivery service as well as always improving the quality of delivery service with a series of delivery services, service centers and the network extends to all localities in the province. The market for delivery and logistics services in Dong Nai has many advantages and potential for development such as: being located close to Ho Chi Minh City, being one of the dynamic localities in terms of digital transformation, and having good infrastructure development, etc. Currently, Viettel Post's Branch in Dong Nai has 26 post offices, SUB (post office model combined with many transportation and storage services) and 1 provincial-level service center. Sales of the branch's transportation services increase by an average of 35-40% per year.
Many experts said that Dong Nai is a locality bordering Ho Chi Minh City, so the province has many advantages in transporting and supplying goods to Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities, as well as connecting the consumers with localities. In addition, the well-developed logistics services and service providers in the province also contribute to creating many advantages for the development of e-commerce, freight forwarding services.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Director of the Center for E-commerce Development (Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy - Ministry of Industry and Trade) shared, when combined, integrated with online payment activities and services logistics, for local e-commerce website, it is necessary to have a team of qualified and knowledgeable human resources to advise customers to understand products and buy products quickly and conveniently; as well as learn about the order reconciliation processes, check payment activities, ensure correct, sufficient and timely transactions.
