Hiep Hoa Ward has a large area of agricultural land.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, by the beginning of 2022, Bien Hoa City still has 6,866ha of agricultural land, including land for perennial crops, annual crops, rice cultivation, aquaculture, rice land, and protection forests. The locality that still has a lot of agricultural land is Phuoc Tan Ward with more than 2.1 thousand hectares; Tam Phuoc Ward with 1.7 thousand hectares; Trang Dai Ward with nearly 700ha; and Hiep Hoa Ward with 320ha.

Although the area of agricultural land in Bien Hoa city is still large, in fact very few people still produce because the yield is not high. Therefore, many households want to convert to residential land, land for production, business, trade and services to build houses or invest, lease open offices, and services in order to have the much higher income compared to farming and animal husbandry. According to the land use plan to 2030, Bien Hoa City only retains more than 4.9 thousand hectares of agricultural land. Nearly 2,000 hectares of agricultural land have been converted to non-agricultural land for the implementation of works and projects in various fields to serve the local economic development.
