Warehousing and transportation services earned VND1,436 billion

According to the Provincial People's Committee, in the first two months of 2022, revenue from warehousing and transportation support services of Dong Nai reached VND1,436 billion, up nearly 56% over the same period last year. In February 2022 alone, revenue reached nearly VND690 billion, down nearly 9% compared to the previous month, but up more than 51% compared to the same period in 2021. The cause leads to revenue from warehousing and transportation support services. In February 2022, the decrease was due to many businesses and units taking 5 to 10 days off for the Lunar New Year.

In addition, also in February 2022, the revenue from freight transport of Dong Nai reached nearly VND970 billion. In which, nearly 4,760 thousand tons of goods have been transported to other places to serve production, business and export, a slight increase compared to the same period in 2021.

It is estimated that in March 2022, revenue from warehousing, transportation support services, freight and passenger transport will increase, because businesses are in the peak production season at the beginning of the year, so the demand for goods and services will increase. Export and import of raw materials for production and sales increased.
