Flight crew
members entering Vietnam has to strictly comply with the regulations
on epidemic prevention and control
According to the guidance of the Ministry of Health, those entering the country who have received the full dose of vaccine or have recovered from Covid-19 and tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 by RT-PCR/RT-LAMP method within 72 hours before entry into Vietnam have to monitor their health status at the place of residence, not allowed to contact people around, and not allowed to leave the accommodation for the first 3 days. Take a test for SARS-CoV-2 on the 3rd day, if the test result is negative, continue to monitor the health status until the end of 14 days from the date of entry.
Flight crews on international flights to and from Vietnam have to take measures to prevent and control the epidemic of the Ministry of Health. In case the flight crew members are in the period of health self-monitoring at the accommodation and have the duty to continue flying, they may carry out the mission if the PCR test or rapid test results are negative within 24 hours before flights.
The Ministry of Health requested the ministries, the People's Committees of the provinces and cities to direct the units to coordinate with the airlines in implementing measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to regulations; take samples for testing, return results promptly and create conditions for flight crew members to perform their duties as prescribed.
