Quickly handing over the working site of 110kV Giang Dien Power Project

Web Portal – On March 4, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung worked with related departments, agencies, localities and units on the progress of investment in the construction of the Giang Dien 110kV Transformer station and connection lines.

 At the meeting, the Southern Power Project Management Board (under the Southern Power Corporation-EVNSPC) said that difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the investment of Giang Dien 110kV substation and the connecting line so far have not been solved in compensation for site clearance to complete the construction. Specifically, Trang Bom district still has problems with 9 households (2 positions of pile foundation, 7 households in location of corridor); Bien Hoa City has 6 positions of pile foundation and 25/70 households in location of corridors. According to the localities where the works are located, some households have not agreed to receive compensation due to concerns about low price unit, which causing the slow clearance.

 

The Southern Power Project Management Board said that it is currently considering approving the bidding documents for construction and installation of the remaining volume of the project, and it is expected that in May 2020, a new construction contractor will begin construction.

 

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung asked the two localities to quickly perform the compensation work to hand over the site to the investor. The provincial leaders also asked the Southern Power Project Management Board to coordinate with departments and branches to implement the project completion schedule.

 

It is known that this electrical project is to meet the load demand for Giang Dien Industrial Zone and surrounding areas, improve electricity quality and reduce losses on the regional distribution grid, meet the load for socio-economic development in Trang Bom district and Bien Hoa city.
