Boosting the progress of procedures implementation, start the commencement of key projects soon.

Bien Hoa City currently has 4 key project constructions including: roads and parks along Dong Nai river (from Hoa An bridge to the border of Vinh Cuu district); roads along Cai river (from Ha Huy Giap road to Tran Quoc Toan street); central axis of Bien Hoa City (section from Vo Thi Sau street to Dang Van Tron street) and Huong Lo 2 road project (section 1). The total invested capital of these projects is over VND 9,000 billion.

In these projects, Bien Hoa City People's Committee is assigned to be the investor of the Dong Nai river and park project. The remaining projects are assigned to the provincial Construction Investment Management Board as investors.

Regarding the progress, according to the investors, the projects are currently in the stage of completing the investment procedures and policies for implementation. At the earliest, the construction of Vam Cai Sap bridge under Huong Lo 2 road project (section 1) and Huong Lo 2 road project (section 1) will begin in 2020.

To implement these projects, Bien Hoa City will have to relocate and arrange resettlement for more than 1 thousand households. Currently, Bien Hoa City is carrying out the procedures to build 7 resettlement areas to arrange accommodation for people.

According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung, to speed up the implementation of projects, Bien Hoa City should focus on compensation, site clearance for resettlement sites. Currently, the capital source for the city to build resettlement areas to move people is ready. Bien Hoa City People's Committee and Provincial Investment Project Management Board coordinate with departments and branches to review and adjust Hiep Hoa islet planning and areas to be adjusted as a basis for implementing projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Phu Cuong said that the key project works are important for the province's socio-economic development as well as improve urban landscape for Bien Hoa City. However, the progress of the projects is too slow compared to the requirements. Therefore, the investors must urgently complete the dossier of procedures to be able to start construction of these projects soon.
