Applied the same as for whole country, the goal set for Dong Nai in 2020 is to have 32,000 enterprises (EN) register for new establishment. In order to support enterprises' development, Dong Nai has issued many solutions, including focusing on supporting science and technology innovation, brand development for local products.
Supporting businesses to improve competitiveness
In order to create favorable conditions for businesses to develop, from 2016, the provincial People's Committee issued the Dong Nai Enterprise Supporting and Development Plan to 2020. Accordingly, improving the quality of administrative reform, ensuring publicity, cleverly, shorten the processing time of enterprise profiles. The province implements the policy of the State assist and taking enterprises as the objects of service, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to invest and enhance business, especially start-up businesses, innovative enterprises with high growth potential.
Simultaneously, the province also proposed business associations and enterprises to actively cooperate, actively exchange and response information so that state management agencies can promptly retreat difficulties and problems, create effective information mechanism to contribute a friendly state apparatus, efficient implementation the policy of accompanying enterprises with government "in the future, must estimate the priority of domestic enterprises. Instead of granting too much incentives for foreign investment, supporting domestic enterprises is also a method to raise the strength of the nation economy. From the development of domestic enterprises, the internal strength and competitiveness of Vietnam in general and Dong Nai in particular shall be increased”- Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh shared with the business community at the 2nd Dong Nai Business Association Meeting in 2019.
Concretizing the provincial strategy, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Department of Science and Technology are the two units responsible for supporting the investment in machinery, technological innovation and training for business owners and workers; in particular, the science and technology program helps businesses improve their competitiveness, apply advanced quality management systems, protect intellectual property in the 2016-2020 period.
It is expected that by the end of 2020, about 218 units and businesses will be supported with technology renovation funding.
