WP - The Steering Committee of the National Target Program of the province (National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction - NTPSPR) has just made a Plan for implementation of NTPSPR in Dong Nai Province in 2020, in the period of 2019-2020 according to the multi-dimensional approach poverty line.

According to the plan, it requires good implementation of sustainable poverty reduction goals, limiting re-poverty; strengthening propaganda measures to all levels, sectors and the whole society to actively participate in responding to the movement: "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one left behind", especially propagating towards poor and near-poor households are aimed at raising awareness, self-reliance and resilience, not relying on the support of the State and the community.
The policies, projects, and activities of the NTPSPR for the poor, near-poor and newly-escaped households should be implement fully, timely, in accordance with the regulations and effectively to help them access resources and push strong economic development, income increase, access to basic social services, ensure social security, improve material and spiritual life, increase income and get rid of poverty sustainably. A plan for the implementation of the NTPSPR of the Department, sector, unit and locality should be established in order to organize its implementation with good results.
The living standards, living conditions and quality of life of the poor, poor and near-poor households in the province should be improved and improved gradually, giving priority to the poor who are ethnic minorities, the near-poor under preferential treatment policy, poor people in remote districts and communes with high rates of poor households.
The whole province will strive to reduce 0.19% of poor households (equivalent to 1.500 households) and 0.25% of near - poor households (equivalent to 2.000 households); particularly for remote and isolated districts with a high percentage of poor households A, such as: Tan Phu will decrease poor households from 0.7%, Dinh Quan will decrease poor households from 0.5%; for communes in remote and isolated areas with a high percentage of poor households, there will be a fall from 0.6-0.8%.
