It is expected to start construction of component 3 of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City project on June 30

​(E. Portal of Dong Nai) Provincial People's Committee has planned to start construction of component 3 of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City project. Accordingly, the project is expected to start on June 30.

Perspective of the intersection between Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City and Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway

Component 3 of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City project, the section crossing the province has a length of more than 11.2km (except for component 1A project), the starting point is at Km0+000 in Vinh Thanh commune, Nhon Trach district, the end point of the route is at Nhon Trach bridge in the area of Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district.

Component 3 of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City project has a total investment of nearly 2.6 trillion VND. The project implementation schedule is from 2022, basically being completed in 2025 and put into operation synchronously by 2026.

The project is to invest in the construction of 5km highway connecting with component project 1A, section Tan Van - Nhon Trach at the intersection of provincial road 25B. As for the parallel road, invest in construction along both sides of the expressway with a length of more than 11.2km including 2 bridges over Rach Chay river on the parallel road.

When the road is completed, the width of the roadbed will be 74.5m. For the expressway section with 8 lanes, the calculated speed is 100km/h. For the part of the parallel road to both sides, at least 2 lanes for motor vehicles and 1 lane for mixed traffic will be arranged with a designed speed of 60km/h. Phase 1 investment phase, for the expressway, invest 1/2 of the highway's cross-section with 4 lanes. For parallel roads, 2 lanes will be arranged on each side. The project also invests in building two intersections with different levels of traffic with the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway and the intersection with the provincial road 25C. 4 intersections with roads including: route 19, provincial road 25B, provincial road 769 and Ly Tu Trong street.​
