the afternoon of September 26, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the
Ministry of Finance jointly adjusted retail fuel prices in their 7-day cyclical
price review. This marks the second consecutive increase in gasoline prices,
while diesel prices also saw an uptick after five consecutive reductions.
Fuel prices rose across the board in the retail price adjustment on the afternoon of September 26.
Accordingly, starting from 3:00 PM, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 679 VND/liter, reaching 19,620 VND/liter. RON 95 gasoline rose by 756 VND/liter, with a maximum retail price of 20,518 VND/liter. Similarly, after five consecutive decreases, several types of fuel also saw price increases. Specifically, diesel prices increased by 463 VND/liter, bringing the price to 17,506 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 322 VND/liter, reaching 17,873 VND/liter, and mazut oil increased by 531 VND/kg, with a maximum retail price of 15,357 VND/kg.
This is the 39th retail fuel price adjustment in 2024, with RON 95 gasoline having seen 19 price increases and 20 price decreases.
