Along with that, in recent years, Dong Nai has been evaluated by many experts as one of the dynamic localities in e-commerce development and is continuously in the group of localities across the country with the high e-commerce index. Most recently, according to the Vietnam E-commerce Index Report - EBI 2022 published by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (Vecom), Dong Nai's e-commerce index continues to be in the top 5 in the country.

​One of the key factors to promote the digital conversion process, especially in the field of commerce and services, is technology and information infrastructure. From the end of 2021, Dong Nai E-commerce Exchange (ecdn.vn) was officially launched, opening many opportunities for people to experience services, enterprises have more sales channels and product promotion

Up to now, the Department of Industry and Trade has connected and supported many businesses and cooperatives for free in the province to participate in putting goods on the exchange to promote and consume products. At the same time, the Department will consider upgrading the function of shopping for goods on mobile phones (Android, iOS) for transactions on Dong Nai e-commerce floor as well as develop an appropriate, effective and regulated operation plan and human resources to develop ecdn.vn...

​Director of E-commerce Development Center (E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency- Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that ecdn.vn has received a lot of attention and direction from local leaders and the efforts to connect and support the Department of Industry and Trade and related units. Dong Nai e-commerce floor is currently one of the leading floors in integrating electronic payment, logistics and is highly appreciated for its application level in 44 local e-commerce floors being operated and deployed. Building the foundation for sustainable development

 In early September, the Provincial People's Committee issued the plan to develop the digital economy and digital society in Dong Nai province to 2025, with orientation to 2030.

The plan sets out basic goals for the development of the digital economy and digital society in the province. Regarding the development of the digital economy, striving to 2025, the proportion of the province's digital economy will reach 20% of GDP; the proportion of e-commerce in total retail sales reached over 10%; the proportion of the digital economy in each industry or field reaches at least 10%; the percentage of digital economy workers in the labor force reaches 2%...

The plan sets out key solutions and tasks, especially the foundations for the development of the digital economy and digital society, such as: building, amending and supplementing mechanisms, policies and laws in each industry, fields suitable to the requirements of the province's digital economy and society development.
