Accordingly, the agricultural sector will continue to restructure production associated with the innovation of growth models and building new-style rural areas. In which, organizing agricultural production in the form of value chain; making good use of the advantages of agricultural development in each locality; building and developing concentrated commodity production areas; linking agriculture with deep processing industry; creating a breakthrough in high technology application in production to increase added value for agricultural products and to adapt to climate change.
Specific goals in 2021 are, the production value of agriculture, forestry and fisheries of Dong Nai will continue to grow from 3-3.5% per year. The whole province will have at least 12 more communes meeting the newly advanced rural standards, from 2-3 new model rural communes. The province will step up the implementation of the “One Commune, One Product” project with the aim of having 50 OCOP products in the whole province by 2021. Israel’s hi-tech agricultural development projects, the Southwest urban agricultural development project, etc., will also be implemented.
