A survey of innovation activities in small and medium-sized enterprises

(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the morning of September 20th, the Central Institute for Economic Management had a working session with Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology to survey activities promoting green innovations in small and medium-sized enterprises.

The delegation of the Central Institute for Economic Management discussed with leaders of the Department of Science and Technology 

According to the report of the Department of Science and Technology, through the implementation of annual tasks involving science and technology, up to now there have been 6 certificated science and technology based enterprises in the province; 8 businesses and cooperatives were established from ideas and projects of the Innovative Startup Competition. Dong Nai has also issued Plan No. 12015/KH-UBND on the National Program to support businesses in improving productivity and product quality based on local science, technology and innovation for the period 2021 – 2025.

At the meeting, the two sides focused on discussing contents in implementing frameworks and policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises as well as science and technology enterprises such as: supporting research activities and promoting technology products ; supporting for intellectual property and industrial property; establishing a network of consultants to support and encourage businesses to improve productivity and product quality towards green growth...

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Cuong, Deputy Director of the Central Institute for Economic Management, said that the survey in localities aimed to form a report on "Develop and complete policies to promote innovation in economic ecosystem, and to guide businesses and startups toward a green direction" to submit to the Prime Minister.
