KOCHAM wants Dong Nai province to organize more discourse with businesses

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the morning of September 20^th, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc had a meeting with the delegation of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Central and Southern Regions (KOCHAM), led by Chairman of KOCHAM Mr. Choi Bun Do, who paid a visit to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc informed the delegation that Korean investors are currently operating quite effectively and making great contributions to Dong Nai's budget, including large enterprises such as Chang Shin Vietnam Company Ltd.; TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, Posco VST Company Limited (Nhon Trach Industrial Park)…

​According to the Provincial People's Committee, Korea is ranked 2nd in terms of number of projects as well as investment capital in Dong Nai. The Acting Chairman also informed that the Long Thanh airport project is currently being constructed in Dong Nai, which is also a attractive opportunity for Korean investors to consider investing.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Choi Bun Do thanked the leaders and agencies of Dong Nai province for their recent support to Korean businesses operating in the area. Chairman KOCHAM also added that businesses still encountered some difficulties and he hoped that the province would regularly organize meeting between businesses and state management agencies to promptly find out about challenges and how to overcome them.

After listening to the opinions of the delegation, the Acting Chairman had acknowledged the comments and directed departments and offices to pay close attention and devise plans to handle difficulties and problems as quickly as possible for businesses. ​
