The 61st anniversary of August Revolution and National Day commemorated

 Participating at the meeting are Mr. Vo Van Mot, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairperson of provincial People’s Committee, provincial leaders; heroes of People’s Armed Force, Vietnamese Heroic mothers, revolution veterans, representatives of government bodies, and people from all walks of life.

On behalf of leaders of Bien Hoa City leaders, Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, Chairperson of People’s Committee of Bien Hoa City lectures on the glorious victory of the August Revolution 61 years ago to liberate our country and to open a new chapter in our history, an era of freedom and independence. With the victory of the August Revolution, on September 2nd 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh President declared the establishment of Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Together with people in the country, soldiers and people in Bien Hoa City had risen up against the French invaders to besiege the governor’s office and then to seize the power.

Now, inheriting and basing on these glorious traditions, people of Bien Hoa city have made every effort to fulfill socioeconomic, political tasks as well as national defense and security. As a result, the city has developed its economic structure basing on service and commerce perfect in line with the planed targets as to create a stable and sustainable development. Therefore, the living standards of Bien Hoa people has been greatly improved, many residential areas have been built, the administration on municipal management, construction and investment planning have radically enhanced. Particularly, it also places much emphasis on the improvement of scientific and technological application and the quality of human resource training.  

Speaking on behalf of the provincial leaders, the chairperson of Provincial people’s Committee calls upon the Party, people and soldiers of Bien Hoa City to actively strengthen the patriotic emulation movement as to make a breakthrough in all aspects of life and to excellently accomplish the targets and task set by the Resolutions of the provincial Party Committee and Bien Hoa City.
