In the near future, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) will build a power-generation plant which uses industrial waste to generate electricity in Dongnai province. With the aim of advertising the technology used in this project, in the afternoon of September 18 2006 at the Department of Science and Technology of Dongnai province, Mr. Shimomura, Director of the representative office of Ebara Corporation in Ho Chi Minh City, introduced the industrial waste treatment technology to Dongnai province.

18ebara160Ebara Corporation is one of the leading manufacturers of pump system and water treatment. In addition, Ebara is the leading manufacturer in the field of environment as well as generating power from waste.

The inner pyrolytic melting incinerator is the key machine in the power generation plant which uses industrial waste to generate electricity. This incinerator has outstanding advantages such as: it has high capacity for destructing waste; it can use different type of fuel and solid waste. This is the pyrolytic gasification technology which gives out wax ash, gas ash and other clean products that cannot be disintegrated.

Building a plant using this technology with the capacity of 50 tons per day, it will consume 800 kilowatts of power. Mr. Shimomura unveiled that a plant of this type costs about 10 million USD and operating expenditure is about 500 million VND per year.
