Dong Nai Police’s 10th Party Congress: Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh is re-elected the Party Committee Secretary

The Congress was attended by Senior Lieutenant General, Member of the Central Party, Deputy Secretary of the Central Police Party Committee and Standing Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Police Nguyen Khanh Toan; Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People's Council Tran Dinh Thanh; Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and 200 delegates representing 1,387 Party members of Dong Nai Police.

The Congress approved the preparation session report released on July 20, the political report by Dong Nai Police Party Committee and 2005-2010 tenure Dong Nai Police Party Executive Committee’s performance review report submitted to 2010-2015 tenure Dong Nai Police Party Executive Committee.

Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, on behalf of the provincial leadership, extended congratulations to the Congress and commended Dong Nai Police Party Committee for its past achievements.

Dong Nai Police Party Committee has promoted the People’s Police’s traditions the past tenure, said Thanh.

Dong Nai Police has overcome difficulties, achieved targets, fulfilled given tasks and obtained essential results in protecting the country and preserving social order and safety to contribute to bringing stability and forming a basis for Dong Nai’s socio-economic growth, added Thanh.

Besides achievements, there remain weaknesses, reminded Thanh.

Grassroots Party organs and cells are supposed to expand their roles in managing, educating, training, monitoring Party members so that they can timely discover their mistakes, learn from their mistakes, find out workable solutions and perform effectively the next tenure, continued Thanh.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Party Committee and People's Committee awarded the commendation flag, “Dong Nai Police with solidarity, wisdom and courage are willing to die for the country and serve the people” and certificates of merit to Dong Nai Police Party Committee.

The Congress also elected the 2010-2015 tenure Party Executive Committee composed of 27 members. The Committee held its opening session to vote the Standing Committee, the Secretary, the Deputy Secretary, the Party Inspection Committee and Head of the Party Inspection Committee. Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh was re-elected the Party Committee Secretary.

Delegates held discussion, adopted the congressional draft resolution and elected an 18-member delegation to attend the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress.
