For the past 10 years, the project has supported the amount of VND 3,980 million to 35 businessmen (owners of small and medium-scale enterprises) of 4 districts including Thong Nhat, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, and Tan Phu. This project is divided into 3 levels: low level of support of VND 20-30 million, average level VND 50-80 million and high level VND 100-300 million and lasts from 9 to 24 months depending on the industry in which businesses operate and on the businesses’ demands of support.

Capitals supported to the businesses are mainly used for manufacturing, processing and trading in agricultural products. 75% of the enterprises which have taken part in the project are assessed to work effectively and increase their income. These enterprises have contributed to solving the employment problem for 500 idle laborers in the locality. In the forthcoming time, this project will be transferred to support businesses in developing the quality of agricultural products in the rural areas. Besides supporting capitals, the project also organizes training session of business management knowledge to enterprises’ owners, which is undertaken by lecturers from Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City.
