The Director of Health Department Phan Huy Anh Vu said that over the past three months, Dong Nai Province's health sector has made many tremendous progresses. In just a very short time, the hospitals are equipped with a lot of medical machines and equipment, especially ventilators, testing machines, ambulances, etc. The medical workforces have been significantly improved in terms of expertise, professionalism and medical ethics.

The whole health sector has only 08 thousand officials, employees, nurses and doctors. According to the provincial health sector leader, there are times when it is thought that if the number of cases had exceeded 10 or 20 thousand cases, it would have been difficult for medical staffs to meet and the health system would be seriously overloaded. However, so far, although more than 53 thousand cases have been recorded, the treatment for Covid-19 patients is still guaranteed.
Ph.D - Dr. Pham Van Dung, Director of the Thong Nhat General Hospital confided that at first, the hospital had only 4 or 5 doctors specialized in resuscitation. Since the establishment of the Covid-19 Patient Resuscitation Area, the hospital has both educated and trained the doctors and nurses. So far, not only doctors specialized in resuscitation but also doctors specialized in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, odonto-stomatology and many other specialists have been proficient in using the ventilators, intubation, and all protective equipment in order to enter the recovery area and exit safely.
All doctors and nurses are mentally stable and ready to stay at the hospital to care for and treat the patients. There are infected doctors who have returned to continue working after being cured without any hesitations about difficulty or hardship. The doctors and nurses have learned to be patient, have a very high teamwork spirit, and be more responsible for themselves, their families and the community.
From a lack of machinery and serious shortage of human resources, the Thong Nhat General Hospital has currently had full of the equipments and machinery from the oxygen systems to the ventilators, X-ray machines, tests, ECMOs (Extra-Corporeal Membrane Oxygenations), blood purifier, etc. The number of drugs for the treatment of the severe Covid-19 patients have also been increasing. Many skilled, technical and enthusiastic personnels at work have been fully organized. These are important weapons in the "fight" against the Covid-19 epidemic in particular and medical examination and treatment at hospitals in general, meeting the increasing needs of the people.
Dr. Phan Van Huyen, Director of the Long Khanh Regional General Hospital, said that after 3 months, the hospital's nurses and doctors have been much more professional. The hospital's facilities, equipment and machinery have also been more fully equipped. The doctors and nurses have saved the lives of many severe Covid-19 patients. Hundreds of Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms are also discharged at the Field Hospital No. 6 every day. The doctors and nurses have opportunities to learn, be educated and trained in resuscitation for the severe patients. The dedication of the doctors towards the patient is also shown more clearly because the doctors and nurses have understood the patient's loss, sympathized, shared more, and practiced their medical ethics more and more professionally.
