The FDI enterprises have invested nearly US$1 billion in the province

The Nestlé Vietnam Limited has increased its investment capital by US$132 million

According to the Provincial People's Committee, attracting the foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of 2021 has been nearly US$01 billion, increased by 10.5% over the same period in 2020. In which, 43 new projects with total registered capital of US$315 million have been licensed and 86 projects have been increased its capital with a total additional capital of nearly US$680 million. In the first 09 months of 2021, the FDI enterprises in the province have disbursed US$860 million. Accumulated to the end of September 2021, the number of valid FDI projects has been 1,560 projects with a registered capital of US$32.4 billion. Currently, Dong Nai Province has been still one of the top five provinces and cities nationwide in attracting the investment capital of FDI enterprises.

A number of multinational corporations said that they are waiting for the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the province to be well controlled and convenient for commuting, then they will invest a number of large projects with registered capital from tens of millions of dollars or more such as the Aeon Group, Shire Oak International, Daewoo E&C, etc.
