Lots of rains cause pests and diseases on pepper

Heavily rainy weather is the main cause for disease break-out.

In an alert by Plant Protection Department, if those plants are critically harmed by disease, farmers have to remove, collect roots and then spray pesticide at the previous cultivation areas. Besides, they should provide muck, organic fertilizer and powdered lime to reduce alum. With quick or slow death causing diseases, farmers should dry pepper gardens and cut brown leaves to provide open place for pepper roots.
