Fujitsu computer products of Vietnam (FCV) celebrated its 10th birthday with an anniversary ceremony held in the morning of October 22.

 The distinguished guests included Mr. Osamu Shiozaki, Japanese Consul General in HCM City, Mr. Le Hoang Quan, Deputy Secretary of the HCM City Partys Committee, Mr. Huynh Van Toi, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provinces People’s Committee.

To mark the 10th anniversary of FCV, Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee awarded a diploma of merit to the company for its outstanding achievements on production and social affairs. On this occasion, FCV donated VND 40 million to Dong Nai Provincial Study Encouragement Fund.

FCV was granted the investment license on September 22, 1995 with its total capital of $160 million by authorities. The company has recorded an export turnover of US$ 3.48 billion from 1996 up until September this year. To date, FCV’s export volumes reached 124 million units of PCBA series and 1.15 million square meters of PWB series. An annual average export growth rate of FCV reached 33%. During the past years, FCV has paid over $287 million of tax, fees for using infrastructure and training courses etc. Particularly, the company has to date contributed more than $10.5 million to the state budget. FCV is expected to earn US$ 520 million in export revenues in 2005. The company plans to invest annually about US$10 million in new equipment and machinery in coming years.
