For fruit export

The demanding markets, such as America, Australia, Korea ... is open to Vietnamese Fruit with the import - export tax rate which will be strongly declined in the coming time. In particular, mangoes and rambutans are specially concerned by these markets.​

 With 27,000 hectare area of mangoes and 11,000 hectare area of rambutans, Dong Nai is the material supply for agricultural export enterprises. However, to enter the bigger markets, both farmers and enterprises must comply with strict requirements from cultivation to harvesting, processing, storage …
* Positive signs on the market
Recently, many enterprises have come to Dong Nai, one of the largest producers of mangoes and rambutans to cooperate and ensure for product purchase for export market. Ms.Tran Thi Kim Nhung, representative of Global Processing Vegetables Limited Company (Thong Nhat District) said: "In addition to the aromatic banana products which are being exported in a considerable amount, we still cooperate and ensure for VietGAP mango, grape fruit, rambutan purchase with Dong Nai farmers and continue to expand many other items according to each season’s speciality. Currently, we are focusing on purchasing rambutans because this is its harvest season. "
 
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dong, Director of Gia Kiem Limited Company (Thong Nhat District), happily informed that since the beginning of this year, export of canned mango, rambutan, some other processed fruits is fairly stable and increasingly developed. In particular, orders for the coming months increase significantly. "We are expanding the fresh fruit export as this market is increasingly potential. Specifically, we are negotiating with Korean customers about fresh mango export and our difficulty is that they order  this kind of fruit in a huge amount "- Mr. Dong said.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Minh, Representative of Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City), said: "Initially, we only focuse on exploiting the Russian market because Vietnamese fresh fruit need of this market is still large. We have chosen Dong Nai as this locality has fruit growing areas with large acreage. Our desire is to work directly with farmers and production cooperatives. Enterprises are expecting to have more representatives to provide them more information, such as updates on the prices of agricultural products; addresses, telephone numbers of the fruit planting cooperatives with large area in Dong Nai sothat the enterprises can feel more convenient to search for the fruit supply".
*The opportunities not to be missed
According to exporters of fruits, agricultural products,there are lots of export opportunities but requirements of export quality are increasingly strict from planting stage to harvesting  and processing stages. Foreign partners pay a lot attention to the information about the problem of Vietnamese agricultural quality and react with the breach of food hygiene standard. When one order is contaminated or contains harmful ingredients, not only that order is cancelled but also the enterprises have risk of losing all demanding markets which have just been expanded for Vietnamese fruit. Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong said “The Russian market  accept VietGAP standards but we must ensure the stability of quality, especially the food hygiene safety. Only one enterprise violates this standard, it will make influence on the whole exporters into this market. "
Mr. Pham Phu Quoc, Director of  Xuan Thanh Agricultural Services Cooperative (Long Khanh Town) expressed his concern that the early durian price which highly costs falls quickly when there is disadvantagoeus information that businessmen use chemicals to ripen the fruits. The need of safe, clean products for not only export but also consumption in local market is large. Mr . Quoc shared more information “The content which is priorly paid attention by the Cooperative now is focusing on the standardization for the redevelopment of the area specializing in production to ensure the products’ quality and form. We select slow and steady direction with the aim of building brandmark of product quality prestige”
