Dong Nai Food Industrial Corporation (Dofico) has just signed a cooperation agreement with Namsan Joint Stock Company (Korea) and some other investors to invest in the project of Buu Long tourism & residential area. The cooperation program includes the implementation of projects of residential area, restaurant, water park, motor racing circuit … with total initial investment capital of approximately 100 millions USD.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Hieu, Dofico Deputy General Director, Director of Buu Long One Member Development Investment Company, all the projects belong to Dofico’s plan.
* Unique landscape
Buu Long scenic area is compared to the miniature paintings of Ha Long Bay with charming sceneries, high mountains, large lakes, green trees. In this tourism complex, there are national monuments such as Buu Phong Pagoda, mysterious and seductive Hang Pagoda (Long Son caves). The charming natural scenes there are in harmony with the art architecture bearing the hallmark of religion of many dynasties, especially Tran Bien Literature Temple - the first one in the South. So, this is the tourist attraction with not only beautiful landscapes but also spiritual significance.
To create its own unique identity, in addition to being exploited the available natural advantages, Buu Long tourism area has been much invested in the landscape. With the theme "flowers and water", the tourism area has just been invested a system of artificial cascade which falls from the top of the mountain to the lake with full of lotuses. Tourists can row a boat around the lake, watch the cascade and flowers, study about some species of storks, natural birds gathering in the bushwood along the lakeside. Besides, the water park project which is also in the process of implementation is the first implemented one in Buu Long development investment in the period of 2015-2016 because this is the new model and meet the entertainment needs of local people as well as neighboring residents or foreign visitors.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Hieu adds: "We have deployed planting thousands of Cassia Javanica trees (also known as Pink Shower) which are known as the queen of flowers. This unique flower hill is in bloom at the beginning of the season and will flourish throughout the summer months. In addition, in the tourism area, hill of Ochna integerrima, Apocynaceae, Bougainvillea are also planted; There are fields of bright yellow Helianthus annuus L, Tecoma stans and gardens of blooming Roses, Orchidaceae, Petunia hybryda in all categories… sothat the tourists can enjoy new, strange, attractive sceneries every seasons. Simultaneously, we will continue to invest in a number of outdoor games, improve the service quality of in the tourism area. "

Regarding the objectives of the project, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hong, Chairperson of Dofico Board of Members, General Director, shared: "In the residential area project, Buu Long is priorly invested to develop tourism, services in combination with the exploitation of local resident strength. The purpose of this project is not only economic benefit but also the consideration to the way for local residents to participate in tourism business and take advantage of the project. "
Mr. Jeong Hun Jin, General Director of Namsan Company, assessed: "Through practical work, we have found that Dofico not only is interested in business performance but also focuses on improving people’s lives in Dong Nai. I really appreciate this because it creates the sincerity of cooperation between two parties. In Korea, there is a conception “Customer is King”. Namsan also operates in the field of services, tourism. Therefore, in our long- term plan, we will advertise about Dong Nai in Korea. People often say the economic center of Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, and I believe that Vietnam’s 2nd economic city could be Bien Hoa City. "
