On July 9th, Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations held the 4th Executive Committee Meeting of first course. Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Phan Thi My Thanh, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong, representatives of Departments, divisions and sectors in the province also attended.
In the first 6 months of 2015, Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organization has conducted well the external information affairs; successfully held the incorporation meeting of Vietnam – Thai Lan, Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Organization in Dong Nai Province.
Regarding international duties, the Union has organized well the non-government fund raising. In which, many non-government organizations committed to support social welfare, health, and education projects in the province with total amount of VND14.4bl, and have disbursed about VND7.7bl.

According to the plan, in the future, Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations will establish more 3 Friendship Unions which are: Vietnam – Japan, Vietnam – Korea, and Vietnam – Russia.
At the meeting, Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations has agreed on the resignation of Mr. Le Hong Phuong from the Chairman position and voted Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh as Chairwoman of the Union. On this occasion, Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh also press the button to launch the e-information page of the Union at dufo.dongnai.gov.vn.
Spoke at the meeting Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Phan Thi My Thanh suggested the Union to organize an extended executive committee meeting with the participation of leaders from District People’s Committee to find a general consensus in receiving the sources of aid. The Union also needs to make a selection rules to call for and use the aid effectively. The Department of Foreign Affairs needs to cooperate well with the Union to take advantages of the consensus and the assistance of oversea Vietnamese in donations for social welfare, health and education.
