Since the earlier this year to now, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has cooperated with localities to offer support to 1,800 rural households in building sanitary privies and breeding facilities in households.
For each work, the household is financed with from VND800,000 to VND1 million. Currently, Dong Nai is having 300 households living in areas and the number of households having sanitary privies makes up 62% and that of sanitary breeding facilities makes up 55%.
Expected by 2009, from capital from various programs and with promotion of mobilization, rate of rural areas in the province having sanitary water is raised to 85.6% , having sanitary privies to 66%, and having sanitary breeding facilities to 60%.
