Three compassion houses of the provincial labor union offered to laborers in Long Thanh

On April 22, 2010 morning, the province and Long Thanh district’s Labor Unions in association with Labor Union of Chien Vietnam company and Long Thanh Center for Services and Urban Management held a ceremony to hand over three houses of compassion to three families difficult in housing.

They are families of workers, including Nguyen Dinh Quy of Chien Vietnam company given a house worth VN62 million, Nguyen Dinh Chau with a house worth VND50 million and Dinh Phuoc Hung with a house worth VND27 million. Both Chau and Hung are workers of Long Thanh Centre for Service and Urban Management. The fund includes VND20 million/a house from the Compassion House Foundation of Labor Union and the rest contributed by the families. On this occasion, the provincial Labor Union presented each family who got houses a set of gift worth VND400,000. Chien Vietnam, Long Thanh Centre for Services and Urban Management, An Phuoc commune's Labor Union along with the commune’s authority all have gifts for these families. These are compassion houses of labor union the forth time given to poor laborers in Long Thanh district. According to 2010 target, The Foundation will provide support to 19 compassion houses for the poor laborers in districts, towns and units in the province who are difficult in housing.
