Dong Nai: 136 teens attends summer boot camp 2010

Teens are trained in the military-style environment

With the theme “Facing challenges and self-training”, the summer camp takes place from August 5-9, 2010 at the 75^th Artillery Brigade and the Dong Nai provincial Centre for teenagers’ traditional and cultural activities with such practical training activities in the military-style environment as: learning how to fold outfits, learning basic recruiting drills, practicing first-aid skills, building Hoang Cam kitchen (type cookers are underground but limited to smoke), and growing vegetables. Furthermore, they are provided with love and friendship consultancy, basic skills of life, teambuilding and communication skill, etc. Additionally, they have chance to attend camping trips, outdoor activities and music performance performed by the 75^th Artillery Brigade and local teenagers; granting gifts to policy beneficiary families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and the poor children.

Being trained in the military-style environment, these students can improve their knowledge of national defense, physical training, and soft skills. At the same time, they can enhance their self-awareness, self-discipline and soft skills to live confidently and to prepare for a new academic year with higher achievements.
