58 Enterprises Cut back on their Labor in Nine Months

According to report by Dept. of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, in the first nine months of 2009, there are 58 businesses in the province reporting their drop in labor force with a cut of 8,000 employees. However, 7,600 of those who lost their jobs have found new ones, making up 94.05%.

Laborers in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone

    Two enterprises of which the owners have absconded are Tosca Vina company (Bien Hoa city) and Duballo company (Long Thanh district); while two others have had delay in payments of unemployment allowance and social insurance for their employees. Due to support policies, the payments of unemployment allowance and social insurance have so far been made; in the meantime authorities have been working with Tosca Vina to bring legitimate benefits to laborers as soon as possible.
