Taxation Sector: Total Revenue in 2009 Hits more than VND8,300 Billion

Vice chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc gives certificates to excellent divisions with considerable achievements in tax collection

    Among them, 11 out of 16 fields have annual tax collection excess, central state-owned enterprises gain VND942.5 billion, local state-owned enterprises VND1,303 billion, foreign invested companies some VND2,174 billion. However, 50 percent of the foreign invested businesses reported losses totaling up VND5000 billion in 2009. Some types of taxes could not be fully achieved, such as personal income with 79% of annual estimate, land and house tax 89%; especially revenue from housing sales and leases only reach 21% of the annual estimate, etc.

    According to the target of Dong Nai Taxation Department, it strikes for 5% excess of assigned tax collection estimate.
