(News Portal – Dong Nai) - In the first 9 months of 2023, localities in the province focused on supporting the replication of 62 agricultural production models. The total area of all types of crops is nearly 1.640 hectares; more than 150,4 thousand livestock and poultry. In addition, there are more than 1.162 hectares of crops using advanced, water-saving irrigation systems. The propagation work, training, and transfer of scientific and technical advances into production were focused on and implemented by localities.
High-tech agricultural model in Xuan Loc District
In addition, according to the plan to carry out regular agricultural extension work in 2023, the agricultural sector is building and replicating 30 efficient agricultural production models. Specifically, there are 19 crop models, 6 livestock ones, and 5 for aquatic farming. In which, there are 8 production models following VietGAP food safety, organic, and biosafety; 22 models applying advanced technology in production. Currently, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is working with localities to select locations and farmer households to deploy these models, ensuring the implementation progress is on schedule.
