Syria: Headquarter of Army Command attacked

State media of Syria reports that on 26 September, two big explosions targeting army command headquarters rocked the center of Damascus.

However, according to Syrian Minister of Information Omran al-Zobi, the explosions caused no significant damage.

The Minister also denied the information provided by Arabian media which stated that Minister of National Defense Fahed Jasim al-Fraij and many military officials were injured in the explosions.

He also confirmed that all of them were safe the bomb attack was a failure of the terrorists. However, the attack also raised new alarm for Syrian Government because formerly 4 senior military officials died in the big bomb attack in July.

In the mean time, according to the Syrian Civil Rights Organization whose headquarters is in Britain, 16 citizens including 6 women and 3 children died in the conflict in Barzh of Damascus
