To celebrate the International Women’s Day (March 8), supermarkets in the province launched a lot of promotion programs focusing on women’s items.
From February 19 to March 10, 2010, Co.op Mart has special offers for over 300 items with discounts of 5% to 40%, including presents, chemicals- cosmetics, fashion clothes, etc.
Besides special offers, on March 8 and 9, 2010, customers who are Co.op Mart or female VIP members when buying items in the self-service area in the supermarket and having accumulation of points will have rewarding points added to their card account in the way that eight points from buying items means three rewarding points. Moreover, customers will have a chance to receive gifts and participate in other attractive promotion programs.
Following the first promotion on Tet, in Big C, there will be a special promotion program lasting in twelve days from March 3 to March 14, 2010 with discounts of 3% to 45% for over 700 items like dried cereals, frozen foods, beverages, chemicals-cosmetcs, garment, electrical products, electronics, etc. During this time, the supermarket has a same-price program with over 30 household appliance products, stationery which are price at VND10,000 and VND20,000.
Additionally, from Februaary 26 to March 8, 2010, Big C particularly launches a program to celebrate the international Women’s Day (March 8) with about 40 items of fashion, garment (clothes and bags), households apppliances, chemicals-costmetics, anf foofds, etc. with discounts of 10% to 15%. Some cosmetics products wrapped like gifts are convenient for customers. In three days on March 7,8,9, roses are sold in the supermarket for VND8,000/flower and VND55,000/a bunch. 1.5 inch cakes with various decorations are sold cheaply for VND49,000/cake etc.
Viettel phone and laptop selling retail store system also has its own program for March 8 in which from March 1 to March 10, 2010, when buying phones in the supermerket, customers will be presented a fashion bag and there will be a program with special discounts for seven to ten phone types.
From March 1 to March 14, ANDI computer supermarket will launch a program with VND3 million presented to customers when buying laptops and a discount of 3% to 20% for a set of computer.
Fashion trade marks for female also has special offers for March 8. Vera has a promotion program in which customers spending VND350,000 for it will receive a present worth from VND39,000 to VND250,000. Triump gives a disount of VND100,000 for each receipt of at least VND500,000 and 50% for their several products from March 1 to March 31, 2010.
