Enthusiastic about working
In these days, thousands of employees at Harada Co., Ltd (an enterprise specializing in electronic manufacturing in Long Binh Industrial Zone, Bien Hoa City) have caught up with the work and accelerated working on the production lines. Particularly during the last Lunar New Year, more than 600 employees have registered to work throughout Tet Holiday to ensure production of goods as well as increase income during Tet. Up to now, nearly 100% of employees have gone to work and implemented labor regulations as well as epidemic prevention at enterprises.
Ms. Le Thi Minh Ai, a worker at the company, said that on the first day she returned to the company, she and many employees were organized by businesses to quickly test for SARS-CoV-2 to ensure their health and go to work. In addition, leaders of enterprises and trade unions graciously inquired, encouraged and motivated the team working at the company.
“We feel we are still lucky to have jobs and income after the pandemic. Therefore, when returning to work, no one told anyone, everyone encouraged each other to try to complete the work, and to increase their income. I and many employees in the company hope that the new year epidemic will end soon, the lives and jobs of employees will be better and more convenient "- Ms. Ai expressed.
Similarly, back to work after 6 days of Tet Holiday, more than 3,000 employees of Cu Thanh Co., Ltd, located in Long Thanh District immediately started work and accelerated work to meet the orders of the new year. The working atmosphere of workers on each production line and production team in each department is very exciting. Everyone is busy with work and doing their full capacity and responsibility.
Chairman of the Trade Union of Cu Thanh Co., Ltd., Ly Xe Ba, said that starting from the 5th day of the Lunar New Year, workers came to the company to work. Up to now, nearly 100% of employees have worked at production lines. Currently, the company has a lot of orders and has just signed new orders until 2023, so it is promoting the emulation movement to complete the orders in the first quarter of 2022. The company's Trade Union also regularly visits the factory to encourage employees to be more active in their work to ensure income and improve life after the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
At this time, the workshops of Eclat Textile Co., Ltd located in Nhon Trach District produced the first batches of products after the Tet Holiday. The working atmosphere at the factory has been bustling and exciting since the 5th day of Tet Holiday. The company representative said that, in early 2022, the export situation of goods continued to record positive signals, the company also signed new orders in the first days of the year. Together with enterprises to stabilize production
According to the Provincial Confederation of Labor, by February 9, the average rate of workers returning to work at enterprises reached more than 96%. The workers who have not yet worked are mostly in remote provinces and have applied for leave in advance. The rate of workers returning to work after the Lunar New Year Holiday is high, helping businesses stabilize production from the beginning of the year. In large, labor-intensive enterprises, over 98% of employees have returned to work and are also increasing recruitment to meet production needs. For small and medium enterprises, the rate of workers returning to work is nearly 100%.
A representative of the Department's Policy and Law under the provincial Confederation of Labor said that the rate of workers returning to work after Tet Holiday is higher than every year due to the prolonged situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in 2021, many employees are underemployed, and their incomes decreased, so the last Tet Holiday, workers returned to their hometown to celebrate Tet with their families less than in previous years. According to reports of the provincial Confederation of Labor, about 122,000 foreign workers return to their hometown to celebrate Tet Holiday with their families, accounting for 17.4% of employees in enterprises. On the other hand, with a large number of employees staying, 86 enterprises have arranged for over 15,000 employees to work on Tet Holidays. That is also the reason that in the first working week of the year, workers go to work quite fully at enterprises.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh Nguyet, Chairwoman of Long Thanh District Confederation of Labor, said that by February 7 (the 7th day of Lunar New Year), in the district, there were 256 out of 269 businesses back in operation with nearly 51,000 employees came to the company to work, reaching the rate of 98%. Compared to previous years, earlier this year, the number of workers returning to work was earlier and more numerous. This has great significance for the recovery and development of businesses after the impact of the epidemic. With a fast recovery momentum, large consumption demand, and an abundant and adequate workforce like today, enterprises hope to soon achieve their production targets and plans in 2022.
