On July 6, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a ceremony to receive donations for the fund to buy a vaccine to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. Attendants of the ceremony were leaders of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the People's Committee and Party Committee. Party Committee of Dong Nai Province Agencies, Department of Health, and the donors.
Representative of Tae Kwang Vina Industrial Joint Stock Company donated US$300,000 to the fund to buy vaccines to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic
At the ceremony, 18 businesses, agencies and units donated a total of over VND13.4 billion, US$300,000 and 200 carton beds to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund. In which, Taekwang Vina Industrial Joint Stock Company donated US$300,000; factories of Pouchen Group donated VND5 billion; Hwaseung Vina Co., Ltd. donated VND4.6 billion; Olam Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated VND1.5 billion; Dong Nai Electricity donated VND1 billion; Bien Hoa Packaging Joint Stock Company (Sovi) donated 200 carton beds.
The administrator of the Buddhist Church of Bien Hoa City supported the fund for to buy vaccine to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic
According to the leader of Sovi company (a member of SCGP Group), the cardboard hospital bed is an initiative of SCGP made from 100% recycled paper, easy to install and transport, bringing comfort and safety to both the patient and the medical team. Previously, this initiative has been successfully put into use at temporary hospitals in provinces of Bac Giang and Hai Duong, reducing the burden on the medical team in transporting and installing patient beds. SCGP has also donated 1.8 thousand cardboard hospital beds to support localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong Province, Long An Province to prevent the epidemic.
Bien Hoa Packaging Joint Stock Company donated 200 Cardboard Hospital Beds
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung praised the spirit of joining hands in epidemic prevention and control of businesses, benefactors, sponsors, religious organizations, agencies and units that have supported and donated to the fund for epidemic prevention and control. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wishes that businesses continue to well implement the "5K" principle on disease prevention in enterprises, protect workers and prepare all conditions to vaccinate workers and promote the production in businesses. The province will use the donation fund for the right purpose so that when the vaccine is distributed, it will be used for the people in community.
Pouchen Group supports the fund to buy vaccines to prevent and control Covid-19
According to the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, so far, through the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the fund to buy vaccines for Covid-19 prevention and control has received about VND61 billion from the community's cooperation in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. This fund will be transferred to the account at the Department of Health to buy Covid-19 vaccine for the people.
